Anotación en eCuaderno: Importan las "noticias viejas"

Imagino que, siendo bien conocido el tema (The Long Tail), no está de más insistir en un aspecto. Me refiero a la importancia de las noticias y las opiniones "viejas". Y no sólo a la de las "nuevas".

Lo encuentro mencionado en el blog de Francis Pisani: uno de los cambios que ha introducido Google en la vida de la red proviene de que uno de sus criterios mide la pertinencia de una página en función de los "links" recibidos y no en función de su "novedad".

Es decir, tiene más importancia lo que los lectores tienen interés en leer, a lo largo del tiempo, que la estricta "rabiosa actualidad" de la noticia. (...)

Leer anotación completa y (Actualización) en ella, una extensa lista de sugerentes comentarios, que me han hecho pensar y escribir más de lo inicialmente previsto.
